Eastern star chili (minnesota) ingredients

  • 1 2⁄3 lb Coarse ground chuck
  • 1 1⁄3 c Chopped onion
  • 1 T Salt
  • 1⁄2 T Pepper
  • 4 c Chopped celery, precooked a
  • 22 oz Tomatoes, chopped
  • 22 oz Kidney beans
  • 8 oz Tomato soup
  • 2 T Brown sugar
  • 2 1⁄2 T Chili powder

Cooking Eastern star chili (minnesota)

1. Browni ground chuck and onions in a large pot. Add all other ingredients.
2. Cover and simmer for about 1 hour.
3. Makes 1 gallon.
4. note: i suggest you cut down on the sugar and celery.
