Shrimp& Wine-Sauced Spaghetti ingredients
- 2 Green onions; chopped
- 16 oz Tomatoes
- 1 t Sugar
- 1⁄4 t Oregano
- 8 oz Shrimp -- peeled and cleaned
- 4 oz Spaghetti -- hot
- 1 c garlic -- minced (or more)
- white wine
- 1 t basil
- 1 ds Pepper
- 1 T Cornstarch
- 1 T Cheese -- grated romano chees
Cooking Shrimp& Wine-Sauced Spaghetti
1. Cook onion and garlic in 2 t. oil. Add UNDRAINED tomatoes, wine, sugar and seasonings.
2. Cover, simmer 25 min. Add shrimp, return to simmer and cook about 5 min. To tender.
3. Blend cornstarch in 1 T. cold water, stir into shrimp mixture.
4. Cook to bubbly.
5. Serve over the hot spaghetti and sprinkle with cheese.
6. This is also excellent made with scallops and/or chicken.
