Strawberry-Pineapple Frozen Yogurt ingredients
- 1 T Unflavored gelatin
- 1⁄4 c Cold water
- 1⁄2 c Sugar
- 2 c Plain Lowfat Yogurt
- 1 c fresh strawberry
- 1 c canned crushed pineapple in
Cooking Strawberry-Pineapple Frozen Yogurt
1. Add cold water to small saucepan.
2. Sprinkle gelatin over water and wait 5 minutes.
3. Heat gelatin over low heat until dissolved.
4. Add sugar, and stir until well mixed, then let cool.
5. Stiri in yogurt.
6. Refrigerate in shallow dish until somewhat thickened (about 45 minutes).
7. Add fruit and whip until light and airy (about 2 minutes with electric mixer).
8. Gently pour into freezer tray (without dividers) or cupcake papers and freeze until firm, about 2 hours.
9. Let stand at room temperature about 10 minutes before serving.
